Leslie Kent, the word warrior

Leslie, the oldest of three children grew up in a home where she often heard her Father and Uncle discussing the War (WW11) and the political issues of the day.

Over the years Leslie went into the business world while she educated herself in comparative religions and her first love, psychology. In 1974 she became a psychotherapist and in 1975 co-founded the first non-profit Holistic Health Center in Los Angeles. The center’s services included Workshops, Lectures, Classes, Chiropractic and Counseling.

From a “behind the scenes professional Leslie became a public speaker as she and her associate lectured, presented workshops and wrote articles.

In the ensuing years her path took another curve; she found that she had to revert back to the business world and she focused on coaching and mentoring.

In 2002 she found a new love when she discovered herself as a weekly call-in talk show host. At first she talked about “ How to have a Successful Business; getting and keeping a job, having a successful life and self-awareness. However, when the war expanded her passionate, opinionated, centrist personality wasn’t satisfied to address just these subjects when our country was headed toward a 100-year war.

She created the No Spin Spin Talk Radio Show with Leslie Kent, the word warrior. She’s an equal opportunity slammer of extremes-right and left-Democrats and Republicans. There are those who claim “no spin, however, you usually hear “talking points.

Leslie’s opinions are devoid of ideology, however, her background grounded in solid business principles while balanced with a win-win attitude towards peoples needs motivates her to present a lively perspective on a variety of subjects that affects everyone’s life. She connects the dots, whether it’s on a National, State or Local level. All subjects, especially Illegal Immigration, Jobs, Business and National Security have been discussed.

Her feisty nature strongly encourages people to think more deeply about issues because politics controls everything in our lives, not just taxes, but also the necessities of daily life.
